O meni

Sem Nuša, inštruktorica joge, ljubiteljica fotografije in pisanja. Nekdanja novinarka in stevardesa, ki se je odločila, da v življenju sledi svojim sanjam 🙂

Z jogo sem se prvič srečala leta 2012, ko sem predvsem iskala način za umiritev uma. Joga je zame že od vsega začetka duhovna praksa in veliko več kot zgolj fizična vadba.

Po obdobjih bolj ali manj redne prakse sem se leta 2016 odločila, da grem za tri mesece v Indijo in se tam čim več naučim o jogi. To potovanje mi je resnično spremenilo življenje. Ne le, da sem zaključila dva tečaja za inštruktorico joge, temveč sem tudi našla svojo strast in svoj namen v življenju – da živim in poučujem jogo.

 

Moje poučevanje temelji na tradicionalni Hatha jogi, kot jo živijo in prakticirajo v njeni domovini, Indiji. Asane oziroma jogijski položaji so prvotno nastali zato, da telo in um pripravijo na meditacijo in doseganje višjih stanj zavesti. Vsekakor pa razumem, da je bilo življenje pred več tisoč leti zelo drugačno, zato se je – kot vse ostalo – spremenila in razvila tudi joga. Zaradi tega sem zelo odprta do novih pristopov in naukov, vse dokler se mi zdijo smiselni. Na žalost je beseda “joga” danes pogosto zlorabljena, saj se velikokrat uporablja pri praksah, ki z jogo nimajo nobene zveze, ali pa so njenim naukom celo nasprotne. Pri selekciji naukov in vaj se zanašam predvsem na svojo intuicijo in svoje telo. S poslušanjem samih sebe bomo vedeli, kaj je prav za nas.

Moje izkušnje

December 2016 – danes: Samostojna inštruktorica joge – Nush Yoga, Joga za dušo

Trenutno učim več terminov v Sloveniji (Koper, Lucija, Ljubljana), poučujem korporativno jogo na evropski agenciji ACER (Agency For The Cooperation Of Energy Regulators) v Ljubljani in jogo za kaznjence v koprskem zaporu.

Pripravljam tudi delavnice vodenega sproščanja Joge nidre (ter snemam lastne CD-je s posnetki vodenih sproščanj) in delavnice meditacije.

Izkušnje sem si nabirala tudi v tujini:

  • Marichi Yoga School, Rishikesh, Indija – dnevno vodenje joge za uravnavanje čaker in Joge Nidre (April 2017).
  • Vodenje posameznih vadb različnih vrst joge v Dubaju (ZAE) in Vancouvru (Kanada) – Vancouver Corporate Yoga (Maj–September 2017).

 

Joga za dušo – o mojih vadbah:

Moje ure joge niso zgolj fizična telovadba, temveč celostna vadba za telo, um in dušo. So čas, ki ga v današnjih prenatrpanih urnikih namenimo samim sebi. Vsak teden imajo vadbe določeno temo, namen. Vadbo asan oziroma jogijskih položajev, ki je včasih bolj dinamična, včasih pa bolj statična, dopolnjujemo z različnimi dihalnimi in sprostitvenimi vajami.  Ves čas pa delamo na pozornosti, ki jo potem z blazine za jogo prenašamo tudi v svoje vsakdanje življenje. Verjamem, da je joga najboljša protiutež sodobnemu stresnemu življenju in dokaz za to je ravno njena vse večja priljubljenost po vsem svetu.

Yoga for the soul with Nuša

I started my yoga practice in 2012. Back then I was mainly looking for a way to calm my mind. Yoga has been a spiritual practice for me since the very beginning and it continues to be much more than just a physical exercise.

After periods of regular and less regular practice I decided to go to India for 3 months to learn as much as possible about yoga and mainly about myself. It truly was a transformative journey. Not only I finished two 200hrs yoga teacher training courses, but I also found my true passion in life – to live and teach yoga.

My teaching is focused on the traditional Hatha yoga practices. Asanas were originally intended to prepare the body and mind for meditation and for reaching higher states of consciousness. However, I do understand that thousands of years ago life was different than today, and like everything else yoga had to adapt and evolve. That’s why I am open to new approaches and teachings, as long as they make sense to me. Unfortunately the misuse of the word “yoga” is very common nowadays, attached to practices that have nothing in common with the teachings and practices of yoga, sometimes even being the complete opposite. I choose the teachings and practices by listening to my body and my intuition. By listening to ourselves we know what is right for us.

I currently teach several classes in Slovenia (Koper, Lucija, Ljubljana) under the name Nush Yoga.

I also teach corporate yoga at ACER (Agency For The Cooperation Of Energy Regulators) and yoga for prisoners (prison in Koper).

 

My previous experience:

  • teaching drop in Hatha and Chakra based Yoga classes in Piran, Slovenia, from December 2016 to May 2017 (class of 5 to 10 students).
  • teaching Yoga Nidra Classes, preparing workshops, making own recordings and CDs.
  • Marichi Yoga School, Rishikesh, India – teaching Chakra Based Yoga and Yoga Nidra classes daily in April 2017.
  • teaching some drop in classes in Dubai, UAE and Vancouver, Canada (@Vancouver Corporate Yoga).

Some information about my classes:

The yoga that I teach is not only a physical exercise, but a full practice for the body, mind and soul. My yoga classes are that time in our busy days that we dedicate only to ourselves. Every week we are working on a different theme, purpose. The practice of yoga asanas, which is sometimes more dynamic and other times more static, is enriched with different breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. We are always practicing awareness, and we bring that awareness with us, off the yoga mat and into our everyday life. I believe that yoga is the best practice for the modern, stressful way of living, and the proof for that is it’s popularity all over the world.

I met Nuša during her travel in Rishikesh, India, where she sought a place to teach Chakra Based Yoga and Yoga Nidra. I gladly offered her a spot in my yoga school’s timetable, which turned out to be a productive exchange. The common feedback is that, with her guidance, although the studio is situated near the road with some distracting noise from passing cars, the students are able benefit fully from the practice, without feeling disturbed. Having her for a month was a blessing.
